First of all most people don't know anything about RFK Jr, get out and talk to some people, they are not informed at all on who he is or what his background is. Second, no it is not focusing on their backgrounds as it pertains to "health" or he would include the things that RFK did to help improve peoples health by getting some serious environmental problems cleaned up. This piece is trying to paint RFK Jr as having a career that has never done anything to help humanity while painting Dr Fauci as having done nothing but spend his time helping humanity. It is insincere and it has to be intentional. This is a hit piece. It is admittedly a hit piece in response to a hit piece, The Real Anthony Fauci, but it makes it no less a hit piece. This seems to be what Dr Offit wants to do with RFK Jr based on his recent posts and it is not helpful. As I quoted above "Magua's heart is twisted. He would make himself into what twisted him."
Dr Offit is free to do this sort of thing if he wishes but if you or anyone else in the medical community thinks this is going to help dissuade people from RFK Jr or win back trust for the medical establishment you are sadly mistaken and you deserve whatever distrust you get. Just look at the Dr above who's response when I point to someone doing a pretty good job of addressing RFK Jr in a way that does not just drive people away and sow more distrust. All he can say is don't listen to that guy. The medical establishment is infected with this kind of attitude and they deserve what they are getting.
Physician heal thyself... then maybe people will start to trust again.
You are entitled to your opinion, and I am to state the facts I have commented about. RFK Jr is a dangerous lunatic that attracts and wows people with his sophisticated speach. He is not even the slightest shadow of what his father and uncle were, and unfortunately he has been using their names and what they stood for as propaganda for his political benefit. RFK Jr has multiple deaths in his hands regarding his anti-vax agenda and that nobody can deny it. He twists information and spits it out as “facts” supposedly supported by scientific papers that he either does not understand or fails to interpret.
Articles like this are also twisting information. You may think the ends justifies the means but I would suggest that all this kind of thing does is push more people to someone like RFK Jr. If your goal is to pull people away from him this kind of approach is the exact wrong thing to do. People can do their own research and many of them know nothing about RFK Jr. When they go to see who he is they are going to find that Dr Offit left out a large portion of his resume that probably saved many many lives. I can't get in his head to decide why he did that but to many it is likely to look like the same bull crap that RFK Jr does by cherry picking study data to support his narrative and he therefore loses credibility. This does not require someone to believe what RFK Jr is saying at all to determine that maybe Dr Offit is playing a similar game here and wonder why.

Excellent piece!!!! I’ve always said that RFK Jr should have stayed within the environmental activism niche. He is widely recognized for his achievements in that area. There’s plenty of work to be done for the environment and it’s impact on climate change. However, it is extremely unfortunate that he strayed away into topics that he has literally no knowledge about, and knowingly, has twisted medical and health information that he spits out as venomous misinformation all for the purpose of remaining relevant, and more recently, to attract voters. I despise him greatly. Not a decent human being!!!!

I live in hope that neither the Orangutan nor Nasty Ron ever get close to having Federal power over the health of the US in the future. As a non US resident/citizen I have no preconceived notions about either person professionally nor personally. I do have problems with RFK Jr and his stance on vaccines, particularly the non existent link between MMR and autism, which, unfortunately, was mooted by a British doctor. His continued belief that mercury compounds are in vaccines, despite them not being present in all vaccines except the influenza vaccine for at least two decades.
With regards to Anthony Fauci, I only have what is available through our media which is biased one way or the other.
