Who Will Save Our Children?
Given a recent post on Truth Social, it's not likely to be President Trump.
On February 13, 2025, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was sworn in as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For 20 years, RFK Jr. has spoken out against vaccines. Since 2016, Children’s Health Defense has paid him hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to use his famous name to promote their false narratives about vaccine safety. Now, however, RFK Jr. is no longer being paid by these activists; he’s paid by U.S. taxpayers to represent the health of all Americans. Sadly, he continues to wage his war on vaccines. For example:
• During the largest measles epidemic in more than three decades—an epidemic that has killed two healthy little girls in West Texas—RFK Jr. falsely claimed that measles vaccine, in addition to causing blindness and deafness, kills people every year. He has also claimed that measles vaccines don’t save lives.
• In what has been called the “Friday Night Massacre,” RFK Jr. dismissed thousands of workers at the CDC responsible for monitoring and responding to disease outbreaks.
• Although SARS-CoV-2 virus continues to cause thousands of healthy young children to be hospitalized every year in the U.S., RFK Jr. recently declared that healthy young children don’t need a Covid vaccine.
• In June, 2025, RFK Jr. fired all 17 members of a CDC advisory committee, replacing them with people who, like him, have an anti-vaccine bias. As a consequence, the medical and scientific community no longer trusts advice coming from the CDC.
• RFK Jr. eliminated $500 million from a government agency called BARDA (Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority), making us more susceptible to the next pandemic.
• RFK Jr. cancelled U.S. support to GAVI (Global Alliance Vaccine Initiative), which, during the past 25 years, has immunized more than one billion children and saved about 20 million lives in the developing world.
• Because of RFK Jr.’s war on vaccines, more children have now suffered and died from measles, influenza, and pertussis in the United States than during the past several decades.
When RFK Jr. was asked to explain his actions before Congressional committees, he has treated U.S. Senators with disdain, often shouting or talking over them. He knows that his job depends on impressing one person and one person only: President Donald Trump. Therefore, he answers only to Trump. “For nineteen years, I’ve gotten up every morning on my knees and prayed that God would put me in a position to end the chronic disease epidemic in this country,” he said. “And God sent me Donald Trump.”
In other words, President Donald Trump is arguably the only person in a position to save our children from a Secretary of HHS who puts them in harm’s way. Will he do it? Will Donald Trump stand up for America’s children?
In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that the two-dose measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine should be separated into three separate vaccines. The combination vaccine is, according to Trump, too much for a young child to handle. Children would now get six shots instead of two during the first few years of life, making the vaccine more expensive and less likely to be used.
Jim O’Neill, acting director of the CDC, followed up on Donald Trump’s wish by posting, “Thank you President Trump for your leadership. I call on vaccine manufacturers to develop safe monovalent vaccines to replace the combined MMR and ‘break up the MMR shot into three totally separate shots’.” This push to “break up” the MMR vaccine isn’t coming from RFK Jr. It’s coming from Donald Trump.
If Donald Trump won’t save our children, who will? The answer might be found in a recent poll conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation. Despite RFK Jr.’s actions, confidence in vaccines among parents remains high. About 75 percent of Republicans, 80 percent of Independents, and 91 percent of Democrats strongly support vaccines and school entry requirements. In short, RFK Jr. and Donald Trump don’t represent most parents. If parents can band together and let their voices reverberate through the halls of Congress, the tide might turn. Our children are counting on them.

I watched the devastating Frontline episode on RFK Jr. last week. A real eye opener on how disturbed he is and his obsession to be someone important. Everyone should see it.
thanks for aggregating the tsunami of destructive decisions by donOLD and Bobby, making a mock of their MAHA adage.
