He has not been suckered. He suckered his constituents, and the country, with his act - he thinks. Feigning skepticism about bobby, but then "reluctantly agreeing" after receiving "assurances" (that he's astute enough to know were bullshit).
MRNA vaccines “serve as a deterrent to prevent other nations from using certain biological agents,” Meekins told CQ Roll Call. “The speed of the technology to create new biodefense capabilities is a national security asset.” I DISAGREE.
A future without the protection of vaccines sounds like the 1600s, with a life expectancy of 40 and half of children dying before age 10. How tragic, when we have the medical means to protect ourselves, but choose to allow charlatans like the current administration to make these decisions for our healthcare system. I only hope it’s not too late.
Would you sacrifice your rights to due process in exchange for what? If you want to live in a society where we do not protect vulnerable infants from the risks, even if benefits exist, please say so. Vaccines may be "unavoidably unsafe", but that should never mean that the people who profit from their sale are immune from their "duty" in our justice system.
I'd guess you'd be appalled to read the data on the number of vaccine injuries over the last 40 years and the families ruined by this runaway train.
You like misusing phrases like "unavoidably unsafe" in order to manipulate, and you purposely offer these grossly exaggerated, unsupportable statements such as "families ruined by this runaway train" knowing full well you cannot provide evidence, other than this cheap anti-vaxxer parlor trick of "under-reporting" to VAERS. Personally, I find all of this - including all of your exhausting legal threats against participants here, which I know are equally without foundation - signs of someone struggling to demonstrate "standing" and "superiority" who possesses neither. As I said to you previously, you show up here repeatedly on Dr. Offit's site as a disrespectful, vulgar, trash-talking individual, teaching a master class in how to offend anyone who may even vaguely empathize with parents of a vaccine-injured child. Are my comments Ad hominem? Hardly. They are pure feedback in the purest observational sense of the word. AND for the third straight thread, no less. Yet, you persist...
You are an absolute liar. Law firms report like crazy to AERS and VAERS, and have been for ages. I reviewed reams of shit, more days than not. It's on their "to do" list when they initiate these cases. Before they even decide whether to sue.
That oddball 2009 AHRQ grant proposal pulls that "1% of AEs are reported" out of nowhere, with no citation. Did you miss their RESULTS summary?
"Unfortunately, there was never an opportunity to perform system performance assessments because the necessary CDC contacts ... responsible for receiving data were no longer responsive to our multiple requests to proceed with testing and evaluation."
Their work was so bad, AHRQ and CDC didn't want to get back to them - very unusual in 2010, when they were stuffed to the gills with all of that Obama waste/fraud/abuse money.
But rest assured. That grant and anything like it was killed by your hero, Bobby.
Those two documents do nothing to support your bullshit claim that that only a handful of petitioners' "vaccine court" cases ever get reported to VAERS. Nothing even relevant. And they're absolute shit.
You really do a disservice to people with reasonable claims. You are hurting the cause you claim to care about.
I’m intimately familiar with the safety data for the current recommended pediatric vaccines, and I see nothing that would make me hesitate to vaccinate a healthy infant. Why are you conflating civil and constitutional rights with the safety of our vaccines? Furthermore, why are you ascribing motives to me (“If you want to live in a society where we don’t protect vulnerable infants…”) that I don’t have? Build your straw man somewhere else, please.
Because he's a parent with an autistic (or something) child born 15 or more years ago, and he needs to blame. He's spewed enough nonsense here in the last month or two to prove that he's desperately grasping at some causality that is not even plausible. He's a "constitutional rights"-flavored nut.
No that you insist on ad hominem attacks I could tell you to go fuck your mother,... but clearly your father did that and it produced you. drop dead prick
You have been corrected - and schooled in as much detail as it possible to give - about your false belief in the meaning of "unavoidably unsafe" - a legal term, not a scientific term - but here you are again like a rubber duck, ignoring everything that you have been taught, and now blatantly lying because you now know better now but you don't care.
"the number of vaccine injuries...runaway train."
What constitutes a vaccine injury is determined by the vaccine court and based on scientifically validated mechanisms and scientifically validated evidence.
Notwithstanding what constitutes a vaccine injury, the vaccine court will accept any injury occurring after a vaccination provided only that there is a plausible mechanism (even if not scientifically validated) and a plausible timeline, even if there is no actual scientific evidence that vaccinations cause that specific injury.
IF YOU CAN'T WIN IN THE VACCINE COURT YOU DON'T HAVE A VACCINE INJURY.
"vaccines". Stop right there. You sound like a 17th century anti-appleination wingnut. A luddite with contempt for advanced modern science. You would have civilization destroyed with the 17th century barbarism of allopathic quackery.
Why did you replace your comment with this word salad 3 months after the original, and who do you believe you’re replying to? Surely this isn’t in response to my original comment, although that is what you have replied to.
The majority of the decline has nothing to do with sewers, plentiful food, and sanitation. It was these quacks stopping with some of their more dangerous treatments. They caused the deaths in the first place and then without the slightest shred of evidence or even a relevant timeline claimed that they were caused by "vaccine preventable diseases". These allopaths were using dangerous treatments like mercury, alcohol, quinine that can easily explain the high child mortality. The decline was the result of naturopaths such as Dr Tilden challenging this insane activity.
"By the 19th century, calomel was viewed as a miracle drug. It was used against almost every disease, including syphilis, bronchitis, cholera, ingrown toenails, teething, gout, tuberculosis, influenza, and cancer) along with quinine (medication used to treat malaria and babesiosis). These were administered lavishly, thus adding to the horror." https://www.healthscience.org/dr-john-h-tilden-biography/
Those are some sweet cherries you've picked. How about an honest view of the data from 1800 to present, instead of the micro-slices you’ve served up in those graphs? I think the data would look radically different.
No, it isn't Jane. Childhood mortality within the first year, and by age 18 are both DOWN by HALF in the last 59 years. You're a freak. Cia told us you were dead.
Those rates were both down by more than 50%, but there's a vast difference between health and mortality rates.
There is an 80 fold increase in autism over that same time period. Childhood allergies have increased 300 to 500%. Childhood obesity has increased over 400%. Diagnosed teenage anxiety disorders have increased 61% since 2016 alone. I could go on all day. To say the children today are healthier would be laughable, if it weren't such a disgusting lie.
Inappropriate comparison, Jamie. You said "our children's health is deteriorating." I said that it is not, according to large decreases in mortality rates over that last fifty years.
You rambled some stuff about between country comparisons, in unknown years. You fail.
Compare apples to apples. E.g. Norwegian-Americans vs Norwegians. 5th generation Mexican-Americans vs Mexicans. 2d generation Somali or Afghan Americas vs citizens of Somolia and Afghanistan.
...but, wait...you think America vaccinates more than the rest of the world and that's why America ranks poorly! Think again, idiot. Here is the difference with countries that do well: a universal health care system that includes an emphasis on vaccinations and high vaccination rates.
Whatever you are taking has a side effect of impulsively posting to the world insults of people you do not know. Odd. It is obviously to scratch a Dexter type itch, as it certainly does the opposite of persuade .. indeed it nudges fence straddlers to the other side of your fence.
Damn , as if we forget just what life was like before Vaccines .. the lives lost unnecessarily…
But hey , it’s all about not “getting autism” as if it were some freaking end of life disease .
I , my kids and my friends, all Autistic are not diseased or ill. We also are not your pawns anti vaxxers to use..
It takes a simple google search of “debunk vaccines cause autism” and there are numerous and numerous peer reviewed studies proving vaccines Do Not Cause Autism
Wakefield has blood on his hands .
Andrew Jeremy Wakefield is a British former surgeon and medical researcher, known for his fraudulent 1998 research paper in support of the now-discredited claim that there was a link between the administration of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine, and the appearance of autism and bowel disease.
After the publication of the paper, other researchers were unable to reproduce Wakefield's findings or confirm his hypothesis of an association between the MMR vaccine and autism, or autism and gastrointestinal disease. A 2004 investigation by Sunday Times reporter Brian Deer identified undisclosed financial conflicts of interest on Wakefield's part, and most of his co-authors then withdrew their support for the study's interpretations. The British General Medical Council (GMC) conducted an inquiry into allegations of misconduct against Wakefield and two former colleagues. The investigation centred on Deer's numerous findings, including that children with autism were subjected to unnecessary invasive medical procedures, such as colonoscopy and lumbar puncture, and that Wakefield acted without the required ethical approval from an institutional review board.
On 28 January 2010, a five-member statutory tribunal of the GMC found three dozen charges proved, including four counts of dishonesty and 12 counts involving the abuse of developmentally challenged children. The panel ruled that Wakefield had "failed in his duties as a responsible consultant", acted both against the interests of his patients, and "dishonestly and irresponsibly" in his published research. The Lancet fully retracted the 1998 publication on the basis of the GMC's findings, noting that elements of the manuscript had been falsified. The Lancet's editor-in-chief Richard Horton said the paper was "utterly false" and that the journal had been "deceived". Three months following The Lancet's retraction, Wakefield was struck off the UK medical register, with a statement identifying deliberate falsification in the research published in The Lancet, and is barred from practising medicine in the UK.
In January 2011, an editorial accompanying an article by Brian Deer in BMJ identified Wakefield's work as an "elaborate fraud". In a follow-up article, Deer said that Wakefield had planned to launch a venture on the back of an MMR vaccination scare that would profit from new medical tests and "litigation driven testing". In November 2011, yet another report in BMJ revealed original raw data indicating that, contrary to Wakefield's claims in The Lancet, children in his research did not have inflammatory bowel disease.
Wakefield's study and his claim that the MMR vaccine might cause autism led to a decline in vaccination rates in the United States, United Kingdom and Ireland and a corresponding rise in measles and mumps, resulting in serious illness and deaths, and his continued warnings against the vaccine have contributed to a climate of distrust of all vaccines and the reemergence of other previously controlled diseases. Wakefield has continued to defend his research and conclusions, saying there was no fraud, hoax or profit motive. As recently as February 2015, he publicly repeated his denials and refused to back down from his assertions, despite the fact—as stated by a British Administrative Court Justice in a related decision—that "there is now no respectable body of opinion which supports [Dr. Wakefield's] hypothesis, that MMR vaccine and autism/enterocolitis are causally linked."
For Profit:
The author of a now-retracted study linking autism to childhood vaccines expected a related medical test to rack up sales of up to $43 million a year, a British medical journal reported Tuesday.
The venture "was to be launched off the back of the vaccine scare, diagnosing a purported -- and still unsubstantiated -- 'new syndrome,'" BMJ reported Tuesday. A prospectus for potential investors suggested that a test for the disorder Wakefield dubbed "autistic enterocolitis" could produce as much as 28 million pounds ($43 million U.S.) in revenue, the journal reported, with "litigation driven testing" of patients in the United States and Britain its initial market.
According to BMJ, Wakefield received more than 435,000 pounds (about $674,000) from lawyers trying to build a case against vaccine manufacturers -- a serious conflict of interest he failed to disclose. Most of his co-authors abandoned the study in 2004, when those payments were revealed.
Among his partners in the enterprise was the father of one of the 12 children in the 1998 study that launched the controversy, the journal reported.

On 28 January 2010, the UK General Medical Council's Fitness to Practice Panel raised concerns about a paper published in the Lancet by Dr Wakefield et al.. The main issues were that the patient sample collected was likely to be biased and that the statement in the paper, that the study had local ethics committee approval, was false. There was also the possibility of a serious conflict of interest in the interpretation of the data. The Lancet has now retracted this paper. This paper in the American Journal of Gastroenterology (AJG) also includes the 12 patients in the original Lancet article and therefore we retract this AJG paper from the public record.
Holly Christiansen: It's nice we have the luxury (due to high vaccination rates) to convince ourselves that vaccines cause more harm than good while "The overwhelming majority (more than 95%) of measles deaths [In 2013, there were 145,700 measles deaths globally] occur in countries with low per capita incomes and weak health infrastructures.":
A Population-Based Study of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccination and Autism
BACKGROUND:It has been suggested that vaccination against measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) is a cause of autism.
RESULTS: Of the 537,303 children in the cohort (representing 2,129,864 person-years), 440,655 (82.0 percent) had received the MMR vaccine. We identified 316 children with a diagnosis of autistic disorder and 422 with a diagnosis of other autistic-spectrum disorders. After adjustment for potential confounders, the relative risk of autistic disorder in the group of vaccinated children, as compared with the unvaccinated group, was 0.92 (95 percent confidence interval, 0.68 to 1.24), and the relative risk of another autistic-spectrum disorder was 0.83 (95 percent confidence interval, 0.65 to 1.07). There was no association between the age at the time of vaccination, the time since vaccination, or the date of vaccination and the development of autistic disorder.
CONCLUSIONS: This study provides strong evidence against the hypothesis that MMR vaccination causes autism.
Relation of childhood gastrointestinal disorders to autism: nested case-control study using data from the UK General Practice Research Database
Objectives: To assess whether children with autism are more likely to have a history of gastrointestinal disorders than children without autism.
Conclusions: No evidence was found that children with autism were more likely than children without autism to have had defined gastrointestinal disorders at any time before their diagnosis of autism.

Good stuff, but perhaps more readable as a post/essay. Be careful - I've heard that OrangeFührer made pronouns illegal. El Salvador is wicked hot this time of year, and there's no good pizza in South Sudan.
JFK jr. is a very dangerous person to be in his role. He has zero qualifications for his job, and appears to have a gripe with health-care in the U.S. I do as well - we don't do a good enough job of keeping our citizens well - in particular, those who live in poverty. It is very sad that the richest country in the world can't do a better job of taking care of our citizens.
Nope, that was AstraZeneca version. Also the mechanism is similar to the mechanism that causes clots following the administration of the anticoagulant heparin, except the rate of clotting after heparin is several orders of magnitude greater than the COVID19 vaccine.
Your tactics of persuasion are so counter-effective, I can only assume you are an anti-vaxxer QAnon plant. How did calling everyone HITLER who mildly disagreed with you on, say, the best way to increase the percentage of legal immigrants vs illegal immigrants, work out for you? Or for the Democrat Party?
The "holistic pharmacy" chain = supplement where she sold supplements went broke, then Walgreens scavenged the remains. Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Marin County
Consider yourself lucky. I’m a public health nurse from Canada. Dr Offit is like a celebrity to my team and I. He has such a kind and genuine demeanor. It would be honour for me to ever meet him.
Offit’s financial benefit from the Rotateq vaccine derives from a one-time inventor payout tied to CHOP’s sale of its patent and royalty stream appx 15 years ago.
This is all in the public domain, and easily checked. Have you never used an internet search engine? Try one.
Offit chose to donate all the royalties he received from his book "Autism's false prophets" to the Autism Science Foundation (ASF), which is dedicated to supporting scientific research into the causes and treatments of autism.
Now, will you walk back on your claim??? I doubt it.
ASF is a non profit foundation, and all of its board members and officers serve unpaid.
So in summary, the original accusations was that Offit has done absolutely nothing to help those injured by vaccines.
But it turns out that Offit not only serves on the board of an autism charity UNPAID, but he donates the profits from his book to the charity. [Which must mean vaccines don’t cause autism, for the claim about Offit to be “true”]
Have you done anything for those with autism, or those injured by vaccines?
Paul, once again this post is so very helpful in pointing out the dogmatic trap you and the establishment are in.
It's pretty clear that in your head "reputable" journals are ones that only publish studies that defend vaccine safety.
How do you know Secretary Kennedy will cite another study that shows harm and it WILL be bogus? You don't. Jumping to conclusions like this is not becoming of a scientist. Moreover you are biasing the public against any information, data or research that evidences a safety signal. It's irresponsible. Let's see what happens and have an open exchange once more information and studies become available. You know, do what legitimate researchers would want to do.
Kennedy has been in charge for five months and he hasn't terminated any vaccines. Withdrawing CDC recommendation for Covid mRNA shots for healthy children is a far cry from "Eliminating Vaccines". Even this very modest and reasonable move resulted in strenuous blowback from the medical community. How on Earth is he going to single handedly eliminate vaccines? You sound delusional.
And, back to the Aluminum question. I've been a physician for 27 years. I used to regard the Annals of Internal Medicine highly. But this latest study from Denmark, which you touted as "Amazing" to your vast audience on CNN, is so unbelievable fraught with methodological blunders that our resident journal club back at UPenn 25 years ago would have flagged it.
There is no possible way that a scientist of your reputation would tout it as you did, "If there ever was a definitive study proving safety of Aluminum, this is the definitive study" unless you were controlled or suffering from some sort of delirium.
1) Exclude kids who were diagnosed with outcomes after being exposed to aluminum vaccines but BEFORE the observational period began. How convenient. In some instances over 466,000 children were excluded.
2) Exclude kids who got "too many" vaccines. How convenient.
3) Instead of doing what any reasonable scientist would do, which is to compare health outcomes of the unvaccinated to the most vaccinated, they calculated hazard ratios over a 1 mg range. What kind of craziness is that? It makes very little difference that there were 1.2 million kids in the study if you are comparing outcomes over tiny differences in exposure. Seriously?
4) They treated early doctor visits as an independent confounder. That's ridiculous. If they were truly interested in determining if exposure to aluminum resulted in disease, how can they assume that doctor visits were unrelated to aluminum exposure? It's laughable, honestly.
5) They had a perfect control group, 15,000 children who never got vaccinated. Any reasonable person would automatically suggest doing a subgroup analysis with regard to chronic disease on them and use the results as the control group. But oh no, that's not what they did, is it? They lumped them into a group of over a million and showed that things didn't change much when they pulled them out of the group. That's proof of safety?? NO it's not. It's proof that the researchers were interested in "proving" no harm.
A study of 44,000 children from the Florida Medicaid Program showed much different results. Why? Because they did exactly what we would expect scientists with integrity to do. Use the unvaccinated as a control group and measure outcomes. Only about 5,000 were unvaccinated. Even so, Neurodevelopmental disorders were 70 to 330 percent higher as vaccine load increased. The p values were less than 0.001! That is a blaring signal of harm.
The Danish study which you tout as definitive is actually proof of the authors' absurd approach to a very important issue. Moreover it is proof that peer-review is deeply corrupted. They have proved Kennedy correct in that regard as well.
are there any differences in how the human body metabolizes or generally interacts with aluminum if it is injected subcutaneously or ingested?
offit mentions aluminum exposure - references a few vectors of exposure, but all ingestion. then he moves on as if there are no differences btw ingestion & injection. is it established science the human body interacts with aluminum similarly whether injected or ingested?
It’s an important question. Very little is known about injected aluminum and it is certainly treated by the body differently than when ingested.
Paul knows this, which makes his appeal to logic even more suspicious.
The FDA has published limits of how much aluminum can be in a single vaccine dose. But that
should also raise the question of how “safe” levels of injected aluminum were ever established. Did they do a randomized control trial comparing placebo to aluminum? Of course not. It also raises questions about how many vaccines with aluminum as an adjuvant can be given over a period of time.
I think all would agree that there is no intrinsic value of aluminum to the body other than to stimulate an inflammatory response needed during vaccination.
The Mitkus study "Updated Aluminum Pharmacokinetics Following Infant Exposures Through Diet and Vaccines" determined the maximum levels of aluminum in the systemic circulation were far below the levels thought to pose minimal risk to infants, even premature babies.
The only caveat is in infants with renal failure, as they will not be able to clear any aluminum and it can accumulate to reach potentially toxic levels.
There is difficulty in experimentally establishing toxic levels of aluminum (or anything else really) in babies/infants. You can hardly do what you suggest (give them aluminum to reach clinically toxic levels). You don't do randomized controlled trials with placebo groups to establish whether something is toxic. ...SMH.
You're full lunatic, Mad. You started out "skeptical" and contrarian, with an adversarial tone. But as you gained attention and followers and that sweet CHD-embrace (and your neuropsychiatric disorder progressed, likely) you leaned into the whole nine-yards; "anti-globalist," and "health freedom," and railing against "the money changers," and "modeling" - without which we wouldn't have weather forecasting, GPS, machine learning and AI, nuclear power, aviation, internet search - the algorithims that get your crazy-ass rantings attention. Your Substack Commenters are batshit crazy, and you often "like" it.
The Hiviid study, while not perfect, is certainly not "so unbelievable fraught with methodological blunders that ..." You embarrass and de-legitimize yourself (further), echoing bobby (or vice versa). You killed whatever credibility you had by joining efforts with and boosting the craziest COVID conspiracists. Which of you actually believe your toxic bilge?
>>>"How do you know Secretary Kennedy will cite another study that shows harm and it WILL be bogus?"
Do bears shit in the woods?
Do leopards change their spots?
Re The Mawson paper from Florida Medicaid, it was laregly dismissed by serious scientists because of serious (if not fatal) flaws in methodology. And if you want a study that was riddled with conflicts of interest both ideological and financial/funding you could not hope for a better example.
Regarding the methodology:
- it misclassified vaccination status (children with missing billing codes were labelled "unvaccinated");
- the cases were counted for diagnoses from 5-9 years (missing all those typically diagnosed between the ages of 2-5, which is the majority);
- it was critically confounded since higher numbers of doctor visits would inflate the diagnosis rates, regardless of vaccine exposure, and no adjustments were made for other very important condounders such as socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, access to healthcare, parental education, geography, and family medical history of other neurological disorders/ASD.
- thre was evidence of p-hacking in that only certain outcomes were reported, while others were untested or unreported.
- they did not clarify how exposure was measured (eg total aluminum dose/number of shots/doses of adjuvants?).
- there was no sensitivity analysis performed.
- there appears not to have been any IRB approval, meaning the study may be unethical.
That is a reasonable point, and fair enough. I’ll throw you this bone— you need not consider it speculation, as that is exactly what it is. You’re right.
It isn’t hard. Look to the past. When I started practice over 50 years ago, most of my income came from treating children with vaccine preventable infectious diseases like meningitis, pneumonia, epiglottitis, and sepsis. As vaccines against pathogens like Haemophilus influenza became routine, this source of income dwindled rapidly. The plus side was that I no longer had to care for critically ill and and dying children and their grieving parents. I have no desire to return to those times.
I am retired now. Those of you who are left will have to deal with the consequences of this folly. I only wish there were some way to spare your children and grandchildren.
I have MS from reactions to mercury-containing DPTs. My daughter has autism from reactions to the hep-B vaccine at birth, given against my orders (I had tested negative for hep-B, as nearly all women do) and the DTaP booster. Many children react to the flu vaccine or MMR with autism.
It’s important to minimize vaccines to aboid the disabling reactions. Every person has the right and the duty to research and make his own decisions.
I am sorry for your troubles. It would be more accurate to say that your daughter was diagnosed with autism long after she received a hepatitis b vaccine at birth. There is no way to minimize that, nor is there a way to minimize death from vaccine preventable diseases. Most children with autism are symptomatic long before the MMR vaccine is given.
Cia is a prolific storyteller and liar. Everyone in her family has been "vaccine-injured," repeatedly. The details and timings change from story to story.
She spews absolute nonsense about vaccines, with facts sprinkled in. She's been at this (online) since 2014 or before.
I'm afraid that this person is firmly wedded to the notion that vaccines always cause harm, and that ALL autism, epilepsy, ADHD, diabetes and several other conditions are entirely the result of vaccination. Rather bizarrely, she describes having had multiple serious vaccine reactions herself, but accepts that there is a very strong family history of autism and schizophrenia (parents, siblings, daughter, cousins, uncles etc).
Her daughter was delivered by emergency C section after showing fetal distress. There was a true knot in the umbilical cord and the infant was hypoxic, with very low Apgar scores post natally. Following discharge, she cried inconsolably, leading Cia to self diagnose her infant to have vaccine encephalitis (but she never took her daughter to see a doctor ofr took her to ER, very odd if you might think your newborn has encephalitis, don't you think?)
Then to top it all, Cia tells us the family has a hereditary trait for e deletion in the Neurexin-1 gene, which is vital for neuronal signaling in the brain. Individulas with this genetic deletion suffer from autism and schizophrenia.
...but no...her problems are ALL because of vaccination, she says.
Autism did not exist before vaccines. Injecting foreign antigens into the territory of the immune system, evading the elaborate system of filters set up to prevent such unexpected threats, causes the immune system of many to react with far more than the desired amount of inflammation. Meaning encephalitis and stroke-like brain damage (autism or seizure disorders), myocarditis or endocarditis (Covid vaccine), or allergic gastroenteritis (bowel disease), or many others. Acute (encephalitic screaming syndrome) or chronic (allergic or autoimmune disease).
I looked up the Spark Foundation. What I saw seemed to only promote healthy diet and physical exercise. Is that what you were referring to? It does not address vaccine damage or the autoimmune syndromes triggered by it.
It says in my inbox that you liked my comment below, but it is not registered under it. Thank you, if you meant to like it. You have probably already seen that it is the lawless Wild West here.
It would be accurate to say that she started screaming constantly and inconsolably for twenty hours a day from Tuesday evening, May 9, 2000, to Saturday afternoon, May 13, after having been given the hep-B vaccine at midnight on Friday, May 5, 2000, after an emergency C-section at 7:30 am. I had told her doctor a month beforehand not to give it to her, as it often caused autism. See congressional safety hearing of May 1999, with testimony on autism caused by vaccine encephalitis and encephalitic screaming syndrome often caused by this vaccine. I will post this before it is swept away and deleted.
It's like saying the sun will rise tomorrow. That is speculation, rather than fact, but prior probability and experience helps you determine what will likely happen.
Secretary Kennedy has an easier solution. By not "recommending" vaccines but continuing to allow their production, it will require insurance companies to determine independently whether they wish to provide vaccines for free, at cost, or at a profit. My grandchild needed a measles vaccine outside the stated age, and the cost was $450. How many families are in a position to pay this new out-of-pocket cost?
Exactly, but he's not going to be content with that, as we're seeing.
Also, you got ripped off. MMR goes for ~$100 to $125 per dose - possibly $80 if you shop it around - they GOUGE cash-paying customers, because they can ("to make up for low margins through PBMs").
Exactly. We are watching it play out before our eyes. And he keeps on lying to congress with no repercussions, such as claiming that David Geier’s conviction on practicing medicine without a license was overturned (it wasn’t). And still complete silence from the major medical organizations and journals. Because they are too cowardly to speak up.
Look, it's going to be a long and hard battle against your biases, but let me start you off on the process of achieving some semblance of science literacy in the field of toxicology at least:
The meaning of "the dose makes the poison":
1) Any substance can be toxic at a high enough dose.
2) Any poison can be harmless at a low enough dose.
GOT IT?
NOW:
The difference between "toxin" and "toxic":
1) A toxin is a biologically active substance evolved to cause harm.
2) A toxin is toxic only if, in a given situation that depends on the dose - and the route of exposure, and the physiology of the victim - causes harm."
It just got worse. Kennedy announced that he's cutting funding for mRNA vaccines to "[prioritize] the development of safer, broader vaccine strategies, like whole-virus vaccines and novel platforms that don’t collapse when viruses mutate." Whatever the hell this means.
I have a different take: He knows so little about mRNA he probably can’t even spell it, which explains his reluctance to wander outside his comfort zone of exquisite ignorance. Maybe he even pronounces it wrong, sort of like "Mr. Nah"
Quite possible. I know of some people who did call MRSA "Mister Sah".
In my ID unit, we often had patients who were very aware of triggering words like "MRSA", so if we wished to discuss an issue but disguise it from the patients we'd sometimes talk about "the issue with Mister Sah, or with Missus A"
I wonder if Sen. Bill Cassidy finally understands the degree of how badly he’s been suckered. This is on you, doctor.
Cassidy should be stripped of his medical license, if he even has one
He has not been suckered. He suckered his constituents, and the country, with his act - he thinks. Feigning skepticism about bobby, but then "reluctantly agreeing" after receiving "assurances" (that he's astute enough to know were bullshit).
In that case, he's merely a coward.
Not "merely." He's a craven, deceitful, self-serving coward.
That too...
He wasn't suckered. He knew. So did Tillis. They're cowards, not folks.
There were three other republicans who are also physicians that affirmed RFK Jr.’s HHS confirmation.

THAT is "Tragic" as you suggest above.
I would appreciate you posting that SPECIFIC, corroborated, non-VAERS data so that I may be appalled as well.
Simply read all of the petitioners' claims brought to the USCFC. Forgive me if a handful of those were ever reported to VAERS.
Try a plausible contention, for a change.

"Adding recommendations for more improperly testes vaccines for pregnant women.. some with experimental adjuvants .."
Testes vaccines for pregnant women? Ewww! So woke!

CHERRY-PICK more mothballs please, Pollyanna
Those two documents do nothing to support your bullshit claim that that only a handful of petitioners' "vaccine court" cases ever get reported to VAERS. Nothing even relevant. And they're absolute shit.
You really do a disservice to people with reasonable claims. You are hurting the cause you claim to care about.
"Research shows" that "HealthFreedomIowa" have no credibility (like you) and that 1% number making the rounds is absolute bullshit (like you).
You bore me. Bye.
Did you report your sore arm after your vaccination?
No? Now you understand that 1% report rate.
Would your injury be reported if you died. 100%.
Got it yet, idiot?
The joke is on you, ConstitutionBoy. My mother was gang raped at a Republican convention while my father was in prison.
Who's the asshole now (=still)?
annapoLIE <-- "drop dead prick"
annapoLIE <-- "go fuck your mother"
I counted only 24, max. Can you tell me how you get 29? https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/imz-schedules/child-adolescent-age.html
You like overcounting, don't you?
Up to 1 year of age would be one flu jab and 2 Covid jabs, should you choose to do so (they are not routine).
Absolutely, I do. Unequivocally, and without reservation.
How would you do this "study" you are proposing?
AnnapoLIE, why are you such a deceitful person?
I can literally say my pet unicorn stabbed me because of my Covid vaccine in VAEREs. It literally is just a registry. That’s it.
My body my choice. And keep your needles away from my children, unless I specifically invite you.
What benefits if any do you ascribe to modern sewers, plentiful food, and sanitation?
What do you think life expectancy was like prevaccine or in the 1600s?
Would it surprise you to know that I also support black nationalists?
Inappropriate comparison, Jamie. You said "our children's health is deteriorating." I said that it is not, according to large decreases in mortality rates over that last fifty years.
You rambled some stuff about between country comparisons, in unknown years. You fail.
I heard that you were dead.
Compare apples to apples. E.g. Norwegian-Americans vs Norwegians. 5th generation Mexican-Americans vs Mexicans. 2d generation Somali or Afghan Americas vs citizens of Somolia and Afghanistan.
You're winning the stupid award for today, so far.
Thanks!
By the way, my statement does not contradict Janine's. Actually using my approach, it would strengthen it.
Hi, Janie Pena, why do you lie so blatantly.
Have a look at this graph which shows the precipitous drop in chances that a newborn does not survive childhood from 50% to 4% globally.
https://ourworldindata.org/cdn-cgi/imagedelivery/qLq-8BTgXU8yG0N6HnOy8g/eaa94364-8380-40a1-b311-7c01a69a4000/w=1350
THAT GRAPH SMACKS YOU SQUARE IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR UGLY LYING FACE.
This tactic is called "shifting the goalposts".
...but, wait...you think America vaccinates more than the rest of the world and that's why America ranks poorly! Think again, idiot. Here is the difference with countries that do well: a universal health care system that includes an emphasis on vaccinations and high vaccination rates.
Own goal, Janie Pena.
Whatever you are taking has a side effect of impulsively posting to the world insults of people you do not know. Odd. It is obviously to scratch a Dexter type itch, as it certainly does the opposite of persuade .. indeed it nudges fence straddlers to the other side of your fence.
"it nudges fence straddlers to the other side of your fence."
I invite you to do a RCT on that question before declaring victory, son. |:
Hi, Bobby, I see you have a paper-thin skin and that you have been triggered like a lily-white snowflake.
That's okay but do yourself a favour and actually learn some science before you open your ignorant mouth about science.

Retraction: Enterocolitis in Children With Developmental Disorders

Attempt to reproduce the Wakefield paper:

Conclusions: No evidence was found that children with autism were more likely than children without autism to have had defined gastrointestinal disorders at any time before their diagnosis of autism.

bigoted tyrant?
really? You have no idea who I'm speaking about? Who hired RFKjr?
Regardless, I still do not want mercury or aluminum injected into my children.
Then you missed the point entirely. This may help you understand why your thoughts about vaccines are not factual. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8222972/

JFK jr. is a very dangerous person to be in his role. He has zero qualifications for his job, and appears to have a gripe with health-care in the U.S. I do as well - we don't do a good enough job of keeping our citizens well - in particular, those who live in poverty. It is very sad that the richest country in the world can't do a better job of taking care of our citizens.
Just a minor point but it’s not JFK jr. but RFK jr.
Opps - senior moment! JFK was a pretty good president.
No. JFK, Jr is accurate.
He’s already started “ RFK Jr cancels $500m in mRNA vaccine development in the US”
mRNA vaccines cause blood clots in young men.
Nope, that was AstraZeneca version. Also the mechanism is similar to the mechanism that causes clots following the administration of the anticoagulant heparin, except the rate of clotting after heparin is several orders of magnitude greater than the COVID19 vaccine.
See my adjacent comment for what Blob is trying to spew - myocarditis risk in 12-24 males.

I've told you before...he sold all rights to the rotavaccine about 15 years ago.
The money he makes from "vaccines" is far, far less than RFK jr makes from anti-vaccine litigation.
Offit’s financial benefit from the Rotateq vaccine derives from a one-time inventor payout tied to CHOP’s sale of its patent and royalty stream appx 15 years ago.

"He...has done nothing to support and compensate those who have been injured by vaccines"
He supports the compensation of the vaccine injured through the vaccine court.
You support those who have NOT been injured by vaccines.
IF YOU CAN'T WIN IN THE VACCINE COURT YOU DO NOT HAVE A VACCINE INJURY
- no legal fees,
- a list of conditions that are automatically paid out. For other claims...
- an unvalidated but plausible mechanism and timeline is all that is required.
- everyone with a genuine vaccine injury is compensated.
- if you don't like the result, you can appeal or take civil action.
Garbage!
The profits from a couple of his books went to an autism charity.
So are you saying autism is not caused by vaccines?
Nope, you are wrong.
Offit chose to donate all the royalties he received from his book "Autism's false prophets" to the Autism Science Foundation (ASF), which is dedicated to supporting scientific research into the causes and treatments of autism.
Now, will you walk back on your claim??? I doubt it.
The ignorant moron is you.
Thank you for your post and your advocacy. What do you recommend for this Fall? Do you still think we will have access to flu and Covid vaccines?
Very funny
I am asking if the government approved the Covid and Flu vaccines for 2025 which is still an open question. They are behind schedule.
Janine Pera does not understand a goddamn thing!
Why do you care if the government approves of what you do? This isn't Britain.
Obvious plant, MAGA man. You do not represent us, rude boy.
They have proved Kennedy correct in that regard as well.
https://madhavasetty.substack.com/p/hiding-the-signal-the-danish-aluminum
just a layman here, doctor.
are there any differences in how the human body metabolizes or generally interacts with aluminum if it is injected subcutaneously or ingested?
offit mentions aluminum exposure - references a few vectors of exposure, but all ingestion. then he moves on as if there are no differences btw ingestion & injection. is it established science the human body interacts with aluminum similarly whether injected or ingested?
How is questioning the difference of how aluminum gets into bodies lunacy?
Here's Madhava "MAD DOG" Setty back AGAIN with his long COPY/PASTE!
He works for the Children's Health Destruction website.
NOTHING TO SEE HERE EXCEPT DEATH AND DESTRUCTION.
Wake up doctor! The proof is out there. You’re making a decision to ignore it!
- it misclassified vaccination status (children with missing billing codes were labelled "unvaccinated");
- the cases were counted for diagnoses from 5-9 years (missing all those typically diagnosed between the ages of 2-5, which is the majority);
Janie Pera, sucking the excrement directly from Mad Dog Setty's arse.
Wow. Dr. Offit can foretell the future. I need him for my financial advisor, LOL. What a shill for Big Pharma.
You embarrass yourself
What are the things Dr. Offit has said here that are untrue?
Seriously, Joan? He nailed it. Actually, Brainworm's gone farther, faster.
Now take your afternoon supplements.
A prediction based on past performance is not speculation. Idiot.
Fuck you, MAGA boy.
Wow! This the lily while snowflake who was triggered by my direct language.
Can you spell 'hypocrite"?
can you?
That is a reasonable point, and fair enough. I’ll throw you this bone— you need not consider it speculation, as that is exactly what it is. You’re right.
You're not even making sense now, Karl Marx Strawberry
MAGA troll
PHARMA Shill.
Have you looked at the graph that shows the precipitous increase from 50% to 96% of neonates who reach adulthood over the past 100 years?
Are you getting it yet. Idiot.
Another antivax lunatic who doesn't understand what a prediction based on past performance is not a non-existent paranormal phenomenon.
It's not that hard.
It's like saying the sun will rise tomorrow. That is speculation, rather than fact, but prior probability and experience helps you determine what will likely happen.
So why are you reading?
They shouldn't deny it. Even teenagers. They should have drawn measles antibody titres. I think. If that's money you could use, look into it.
RFKJr is the most dangerous man in the world, by far Trump’s worst cabinet pick.
Hopefully he’ll fall from favor like Musk, the sooner the better.
This truly is a travesty, so sad and frustrating watching it happen
Not a single word of truth in your comment. Give it a rest.
Janie Pena<-- SCIENCE ILLITERATE and BLATANT LIAR
What toxins?
What is a toxin?
What is the meaning of "the dose is the poison"?
What is a "gold standard" study?
When are RCTs impractical?
When are RCTs impossible?
When are RCTs unethical.
What is a placebo?
The list goes on...
WHY ARE YOU BLATANTLY LYING ABOUT STUDIES USING SALINE PLACEBOS NEVER HAVING BEEN DONE?
So a toxin is only a toxin at a certain dose?
Yes, you science illiterate fool.
Toxicology 101: THE *DOSE* IS THE POISON.
LEARN SOME FRIGGIN' SCIENCE!
Got it. So snake venom isn’t a toxin until it’s toxic. Thanks for helping with my illiteracy.
rOSENKREUTZ:
"So snake venom isn’t a toxin until it’s toxic."
No, you frigging science illiterate fool!
LEARN SOME FRIGGIN' SCIENCE!
My apologies for getting the gist of some comments wrong - Diane Asch and Mary Jo Wilkins - but they cannot be edited. Coffee first :)
Can everyone’s families who are going to die of an infectious disease because they didn’t vaccinate sue the government for this false information?
We must work together to stop the regime against vaccinations! Thank you for all you do!
Nah"
https://apnews.com/article/kennedy-vaccines-mrna-pfizer-moderna-1fb5b9436f2957075064c18a6cbbe3c9
"He said the department was shifting the funding toward "safer, broader vaccine platforms that remain effective even as viruses mutate".
That last sentence is SUCH BULLSHIT because he's on the warpath against vaccines and technologies that have been in use for 20, 30, 50 years.
