And it must be even more devastating for the CDC professionals who have to abide the malevolent idiocy of their illegitimate boss. Of course this autism page with bogus claims accomplishes so much for the anti-science/anti-public health crowd, because these bogus claims not only erode trust in vaccines. They also make me, as an expert, wonder which of the CDC pages I can still rely on to provide accurate data about outbreaks, prevention, public health evidence, etc.

I have not read the book "Vaccines Amen". Perhaps if you have read it you could answer this question for me. Let's presume that parents are right..that their children develop symptoms of autism shortly after a vaccination. What is the difference between these children and the millions upon millions of vaccinated children that don't get autism? I am genuinely interested...I have a grandson with profound autism.

The problem is is that the parents that have noticed that their child digressed after receiving a vaccine has had no voice, no one listening to them, has been gaslit by their doctors, medical professiionals and no one wants to listen. That is in my mind very wrong. Thanks Julie....I agree parents must be listened to...and I agree that we are all different. The metaphor that I have used is the bee sting. Most people have a few days of swelling and itch...others have a full blown anaphylactic reaction. We manage this by identifying people at risk for anaphylaxis and give them a remedy. We don't get rid of the bees. I think this is an approach that needs further research for kids who develop symptoms of autism after immunization. There is a growing body of research that has identified biomarkers for autism in children at birth. Is it possible that these children, identified at birth that go on to develop autism are the ones that react adversely to vaccines? If this is proven to be true accommodations could be made to their vaccine schedule...and not only that...there may be early interventions that prevent neurological damage. And the millions of children not adversely affected could be vaccinated without fear. The world needs bees and IMHO vaccines.
That is an excellent question and a very important one. There is no denying that vaccines can cause adverse reactions, including severe ones. The problem is, we do not know which kids will get them. This is something that should be studied, because if we can find the answers to that, I think everyone will have more trust. This is likely very difficult. Vaccine package inserts do state not to be given if you are allergic to the vaccine or any of its components. However, how would you know what a day-old baby is allergic to or a 6-week-old? That's the reaction they seem to stress.
There is a package insert for every vaccine - make sure you receive full informed consent before giving that to your child and I would read this new book that just came out by Aaron Siri called "Vaccines Amen". A lot of really good information.
I recommend the book Vaccines for Dummies which came out a few years ago. Also, The Doctor Who Fooled the World, which is about the doctor who originally fabricated the vaccine/autism link.

Reported measles cases in the US have surged to 1,7231 with a large, ongoing outbreak in neighboring counties in Utah and Arizona with 205 cases and a South Carolina outbreak with 46 cases. More than 90% cases are unvaccinated or have unknown vaccination status. Measles can be severe in some children causing hospitalization and even death. With proper vaccination, measles is an easily preventable disease. This is especially important to understand as there is no cure for the disease once a child becomes sick.

The safety analysis for "5 days" following Hep B vaccine was the time period of daily face-to-face review to identify any immediate post vaccination side effects. The protocols for the studies consisted of further clinical reviews at each of the 3 vaccine shots over the next 4-6 months, and there would usually be a further check at 6 months following the last vaccination.

What I mean is that for the first 5 or 6 days following vaccination, there is a record made of every problem, and this record is “solicited” directly at the time via a phone call. Further documentation during the follow-up period is via “unsolicited” recording of any problems. The parents write down the problem on the record cards. These are then reviewed at the next face-to face follow-up.
True to form, antivaxers claim this means follow up is only 5 or 6 days. In reality it is 6 months or more, often a year.

I have not read the book "Vaccines Amen". Perhaps if you have read it you could answer this question for me. Let's presume that parents are right..that their children develop symptoms of autism shortly after a vaccination. What is the difference between these children and the millions upon millions of vaccinated children that don't get autism? I am genuinely interested...I have a grandson with profound autism.

The problem is is that the parents that have noticed that their child digressed after receiving a vaccine has had no voice, no one listening to them, has been gaslit by their doctors, medical professiionals and no one wants to listen. That is in my mind very wrong. Thanks Julie....I agree parents must be listened to...and I agree that we are all different. The metaphor that I have used is the bee sting. Most people have a few days of swelling and itch...others have a full blown anaphylactic reaction. We manage this by identifying people at risk for anaphylaxis and give them a remedy. We don't get rid of the bees. I think this is an approach that needs further research for kids who develop symptoms of autism after immunization. There is a growing body of research that has identified biomarkers for autism in children at birth. Is it possible that these children, identified at birth that go on to develop autism are the ones that react adversely to vaccines? If this is proven to be true accommodations could be made to their vaccine schedule...and not only that...there may be early interventions that prevent neurological damage. And the millions of children not adversely affected could be vaccinated without fear. The world needs bees and IMHO vaccines.
That is an excellent question and a very important one. There is no denying that vaccines can cause adverse reactions, including severe ones. The problem is, we do not know which kids will get them. This is something that should be studied, because if we can find the answers to that, I think everyone will have more trust. This is likely very difficult. Vaccine package inserts do state not to be given if you are allergic to the vaccine or any of its components. However, how would you know what a day-old baby is allergic to or a 6-week-old? That's the reaction they seem to stress.
There is a package insert for every vaccine - make sure you receive full informed consent before giving that to your child and I would read this new book that just came out by Aaron Siri called "Vaccines Amen". A lot of really good information.

The safety analysis for "5 days" following Hep B vaccine was the time period of daily face-to-face review to identify any immediate post vaccination side effects. The protocols for the studies consisted of further clinical reviews at each of the 3 vaccine shots over the next 4-6 months, and there would usually be a further check at 6 months following the last vaccination.

What I mean is that for the first 5 or 6 days following vaccination, there is a record made of every problem, and this record is “solicited” directly at the time via a phone call. Further documentation during the follow-up period is via “unsolicited” recording of any problems. The parents write down the problem on the record cards. These are then reviewed at the next face-to face follow-up.
True to form, antivaxers claim this means follow up is only 5 or 6 days. In reality it is 6 months or more, often a year.

Second, there is no single molecule of the original material in the “strongest” dilution. Third the homeopathic pills are lyophilized sugar pills. Guess what lyophilization does. It removes the water. There is zero chance that any trace of any substance is left if the preparation is done the way homeopaths claim. It is the biggest fraud on the planet besides religion and you are participating in it.
